### Win Condition

Win when your opponent's HP is reduced to 0. You can reduce their HP by attacking the player directly with your creatures on the board. (Drag the attacker into the opponent's hand of cards).

1. **Mana System** \
 Each player begins the game with a certain quantity of mana, which is a resource needed to play cards. Mana rises progressively with each turn, allowing players to employ increasingly powerful cards as the game develops.
2. **Health Points (HP)** \
 To prevent losing, players must maintain good health. Victory is accomplished by lowering the opponent's HP to zero.
3. **Turn Structure** \
 During their turn, each player draws one card. They can play cards based on their available mana and select whether to attack the opponent or their own cards.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.batching.ai/meta-match/game-mechanics/basic-rules.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
